Quebec is a unique province in Canada that has its own immigration system and criteria. If you want to live and work in Quebec, you need to apply through one of the Quebec immigration programs, such as the Quebec Skilled Worker Program, the Quebec Experience Program, or the Quebec Entrepreneur Program. You also need to demonstrate your knowledge of French, as it is the official language of Quebec.

The EMPP is a pilot project that allows eligible refugees who have skills and experience in high-demand occupations to apply for permanent residence through existing economic immigration programs. The EMPP works with employers, settlement agencies, and other partners to help refugees access the Canadian labour market and integrate into their new communities.

Each province or territory has its own PNP streams that target different occupations, skills, and levels of experience. Some PNP streams are aligned with Express Entry, which means you can get additional points for your CRS score if you have a provincial nomination. Other PNP streams are not aligned with Express Entry, which means you can apply directly to the province or territory of your choice.

This is a way to immigrate to Canada if you have a close relative who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Your relative can sponsor you to come to Canada as their spouse, partner, child, parent, grandparent, or other eligible family member. You and your sponsor need to meet certain requirements and prove your relationship is genuine.
